FAQ: Why does my paralleled master/slave N8900 units display “UNR”?

The N8900 slave units can be unregulated (UNR) during certain conditions, so this display could be normal. Check that the slave units all have separate addresses. Refer to the N8900 Series Operating Guide at: http://literature.cdn.keysight.com/litweb/pdf/N8900-90901.pdf#page=62?id=2413279.

The other thing to check, if one of the slave units is not drawing current, is that the two wire share is connected. You should measure the resistance with a multimeter to make sure all of the connectors are properly connected.
